Google have introduced mobile version of orkut

Categories:

orkut mobile allows you to quickly and easily access orkut from an Internet enabled phone or mobile device. To do so, simply visit http://m.orkut.com using your mobile device; you'll be able to see your profile and access many of the same features that are available on orkut when you sign-in to your orkut profile on the computer.

Now you can access orkut on your mobile.

In order to access orkut mobile, your phone or mobile device will need to meet the following minimum requirements:

  1. Your device should be properly configured to access the Internet according to your mobile service provider instructions.
  2. Your device's web browser must be XHTML compliant. To determine whether your browser is compatible, point it to www.google.com/xhtml and perform a search. If you're unsuccessful, your browser may not be XHTML compliant.
  3. Your device's browser must have cookies enabled and your mobile network must also allow cookies to be set. The setting for cookies is usually located in your device's browser settings.
  4. Your mobile service provider must allow secure SSL traffic (HTTP secure).

Please note: You'll need to contact your mobile service provider if you're unsure if your device is properly configured, and to determine if they allow cookies and SSL traffic to be used on their network.
